Hitting the town - by myself!

Let's start with yesterday. I taught two more classes yesterday. It was a lot of fun. They were definitely a lot bigger than my first two. One had almost 40 students, they talked a lot. The second had about 25. They seemed really good. Other than that nothing really too exciting happened. I have decided to hang the silk picture my sister made me in my office so more people will see it! (Now I just need to find a frame and something to hang it up with!) My office is slowly coming together. I am also slowing starting to get all the important, you need to have these things done ASAP, things done. Yesterday I had to sign my contract (which I thought I had already signed - I guess not - who knows what I signed earlier!) Kiuchi went with me again for this meeting and translated everything for me.

After school Arwen, Diane and I were going to meet a part time teacher at a bar, but I was really tired (stupid jetleg) so instead I went home early. I did learn a new way home though by way of "Shopping Street". I can't wait to have more time and walk down there one day and just stop in all of the little stores along the way. It looks very exciting. I will be taking pictures of it so don't worry about that!!! Also, mom - don't worry I won't spend all of my money!

Now for today! It was the first day I have had free to go apply for my alien registration card, which was good, I need it ASAP, but the bad thing - I had to do it all by myself! I guess it wasn't too bad of a thing, I only got lost three times! The first time I walked way too far down the first road. So, I turned around to walk back, turned down a road I thought was the right road - it totally wasn't. SO, then I had to turn around again walk back to road 1 turn back the direction I came from, walked some more turned down a different road, sort of the right road. But this time I walked past the street that the City Hall was on, so I stopped at a post office and asked for directions. There was a lady and a guy in there that were nice enough and gave me directions. THANK YOU! So I had to turn back down the road and turn down the right street and finally made it to the City Hall. Filed the paper work needed and then I was ready to head home! On the way home I found my way back to the train station alright, got into the train station found what train I was supposed to catch, but then I got scared I was going to get on the wrong train, but I didn't! The best part - I got off at the right train stop! From there I had to catch a bus. Which I caught the right one, no problems, and I got off at the right place too! I was feeling so good that I stopped by the grocery store on my way home and bought some food! YAY! Over all it wasn't a bad experience. Only 3 mistakes! Oh and it started to rain on my way home and I didn't have an umbrella so I got a little wet, but other than that things worked out well!
